Founded in March 2025 in Fredericton, The Sugar Munch was created to bring fun, indulgent, and unforgettable desserts to local events, markets, and celebrations across New Brunswick.
What started as a passion for creating unique sweet treats quickly grew into a local favourite known for eye-catching desserts and fresh flavours. From Strawberry Chocolate Cups to Banana Chocolate Cups, Mini Pancakes, and Waffled Croissants, every item is made to deliver both flavour and experience.

Meet the founder
Mustafa Rayan
Mustafa Rayan founded The Sugar Munch in March 2025 after moving to Fredericton in 2021 and studying at the University of New Brunswick, where he graduated in 2024 with a BBA and Honours in Marketing. Having lived in Syria, Egypt, and Qatar before making Fredericton home, Mustafa brings an entrepreneurial, creative, community-focused approach to every market table and event setup.
His goal is to grow The Sugar Munch into a dessert brand recognized and loved across New Brunswick and beyond.
